What happened to me was not “normal fandom drama.”
It was, and continues to be, a long-running harassment and smear campaign that began in the My Time / Pathea Games fandom and spread across platforms, communities, and social circles.
Short version
This started with fandom conflict that should have remained small. Instead, a group of people escalated it into a years-long campaign of harassment, narrative manipulation, and social isolation.
That campaign has included:
- Repeated harassment messages, including messages telling me to kill myself,
- Mass blocking and social distancing from people I had never even interacted with,
- Alt accounts and throwaway accounts used to contact or target me,
- Public smear posts and whisper campaigns,
- Applying pressure to get me banned from fan spaces within the My Time At fandom
- Attempts to get me banned from unrelated spaces,
- A ~700-page smear document built from bad-faith framing, out-of-context DMs, and screenshots mined from public spaces,
- And ongoing efforts to portray me as dangerous without real evidence.
What makes this different from ordinary conflict
A lot of people hear “fandom harassment” and assume mutual messiness, interpersonal fallout, or a few people being mean online.
That is not what this has been.
This campaign has operated more like social engineering:
- It isolates the target.
- It pressures others to cut ties.
- It frames silence as guilt and self-defense as manipulation.
- It manufactures “proof” through quote-mining, selective framing, and worst-motive assignment.
- It follows the target across platforms and spaces, including ones unrelated to the original fandom conflict.
Over time, this creates a self-sealing narrative:
- If someone supports me, they are cast as suspicious.
- If someone distances from me, that distance is treated as proof that the accusations must be true.
The smear document
A major tool in this campaign has been a ~700-page callout/smear document about me.
Its size gives it an illusion of authority. In reality, much of it consists of:
- Screenshots of normal conversation pulled from public servers,
- Out-of-context DMs,
- Speculation and unqualified psychoanalysis,
- Opinions presented as fact without evidence,
- Unrelated disputes dragged in as “character evidence,”
- And repeated framing designed to make ordinary behavior look sinister.
Most people do not read a document that size. They absorb the social summary of it instead. That is part of how the narrative spreads.
Cross-platform targeting
This harassment has not stayed in one place.
It has followed me across:
- Discord
- Tumblr
- Bluesky
- AO3
- And other spaces
Examples include:
- New alt accounts created to send me harassment after I turned off anonymous asks,
- Harassment posted on old fanworks years after they were written,
- People I never interacted with blocking me after being primed by the whisper campaign,
- And posts or comments appearing in spaces I joined that had little or nothing to do with the original conflict.
Why I’m speaking up now
For a long time, I tried the “don’t engage” approach. I assumed the harassment would burn out if I refused to feed it.
Instead, my silence was used against me.
People bought the narrative because I was not publicly pushing back. Meanwhile, the harassment continued anyway, even in periods when I gave it no input at all.
The harm was worsened by Pathea’s official and official-adjacent spaces. I was banned and restricted based on what I believe was a weak, artificially constructed record, while people involved in spreading the narrative against me were allowed to remain active and continue shaping the story in those same spaces. Pathea has also promoted or retained multiple people with documented ties to the harassment-aligned circle — at least five by my current count — in official moderation roles.
I am speaking now because I do not want their version to be the only version that exists in public.
What I want people to understand
I am not asking strangers to pick a side in fandom drama.
I am asking people to:
- Think critically,
- Ask for evidence instead of accepting social summaries,
- Understand how smear campaigns actually work,
- And recognize that this kind of harassment is not rare or unique — it is a wider pattern that many targets in many fandoms have experienced.
This site exists because I am refusing to disappear quietly.
